Spare parts for our products and systems can normally be supplied within a few working days of receiving an order. Spare parts and accessories for products not manufactured by SWAP instruments may have to be obtained from one of our suppliers. This may result in longer delivery times.

We aim to complete repairs within 10 working days of the customer giving their consent for us to proceed with the repair at the quoted price. In case the products or systems cannot be repaired by SWAP instruments, external specialists will be involved. This may result in longer repair times.


Several measurement instruments (e.g., SWAP soil Redox probes with SDI-12 output) are calibrated before shipment. Please refer to the product’s user manual for guidance on (re)calibration. These measurement instruments can be recalibrated by the customer. Upon request, SWAP instruments can also perform recalibration. Please contact SWAP instruments for a quotation before shipping the equipment to us.


SWAP instruments products and systems are supplied with a 2 year warranty against defects in manufacturing or materials (excluding wear and tear). The two year period starts from the date when the products are delivered to the customer.

Transport damage

Goods that arrive damaged should be reported to SWAP instruments as soon as possible. Please take photographs of the damage and, where practicable, retain the damaged packaging so that courier/insurance claims can be initiated as necessary.

Please note that liability for compensation will be determined by the insurance cover arranged for the shipment (if any) and the carriers own terms and conditions. SWAP instruments does not guarantee the safe arrival of goods in transit. All insurance cover is provided by third party insurers.
