For best contact between soil Redox probes and the soil and/or sediment, and to avoid probe damage due to the presence of hard objects (e.g., stones) in the soil and/or sediment, we recommend installing the soil Redox probes with a pre-drill.

The PRE-50 is a 50 cm long drill that is suitable for installing the ‘short’ SWAP soil Redox probes, e.g., ORP-30-1-BNC, ORP-30-1-B, ORP-40-4-B, ORP-30-1-A, ORP-40-4-A, ORP-30-1-D and ORP-40-4-D.
