This soil Redox profile probe is specially designed for both handheld and standalone (with datalogger) soil Redox and temperature measurements.

It has 4 Pt Redox electrodes at 10, 20, 30 and 40 cm from the probe top side, and 1 Temperature electrode (NTC) at 25 cm from the probe top side.

For handheld measurements, it can be connected to our Swap Wireless Interface (SWI). The measurement data can be displayed, stored and e-mailed with an Android phone using our free app.

For standalone measurements, it can be connected to our SWAPlog-1 SDI-12 data logger. The measurement data can be displayed, stored and e-mailed with an Android phone using our free app.

Because the reference electrode (integrated in the black pointed tip) and Pt half-ring electrode are integrated in one probe, soil Redox measurements are very easy to perform.

The integrated reference electrode contains harmless supersaturated KCl (4.76 M @ 25°C) for long-lasting soil Redox measurements. The Pt half ring is embedded in a glass-fiber reinforced epoxy housing, that can be cleaned very easily (in between measurements).
